WIG STYLIST - Full Time

Role: Wig Stylist

 

Location: London, UK

Type: FT, Monday - Friday

Salary: £13 per hour

We are professional, agile, customer-centric, and our goal is to provide an exceptional luxury experience to our clientele.

We are looking for an experienced wig stylist to join the Chrissy Bales team, contribute to our continued success and deliver consistently exceptional service for our loyal client base.


What we require you to do:

  • Welcome clients and identify their preferences by asking pointed questions
  • Recommend styles according to customers’ face shapes and tastes
  • Cut, trim and style wigs using professional equipment
  • Apply a wide range of hair colouring techniques, like highlights, ombre and balayage
  • Create various hairstyles dependent on the clients specification
  • Apply hair treatment products to wigs, as needed (e.g. colour protection creams and hydrating masks)
  • Form bonds with loyal customers and remember their hairstyle preferences
  • Manage bookings and serve consultations
  • Ensure tidiness of beauty stations and sterilise tools, as needed
  • Cross-sell hair care products or services, when appropriate
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, hairstyles and products
  • Maintaining an adequate inventory of hair products and tools


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a professional wig stylist/maker
  • Proficiency in hair straightening and curling methods, using hot irons and curlers
  • Can cornrow hair well
  • Hands-on experience with various colouring techniques
  • Knowledge of a wide range of hairstyles, suitable for various lengths & textures
  • Up-to-date with industry trends
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Physical stamina to stand for long hours

                  STUDIO ASSISTANT - Part Time 4 days

                  Role: Studio Assistant

                  Type: Part-Time 4 days a week, Mon-Weds & Sat

                  Salary: Up to £13 per hour

                  What we require you to do:

                  1.Customer Service:

                  Provide a welcoming and professional experience for clients, assisting with inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a positive and comfortable atmosphere.

                   

                  2. Inventory Management:

                  Maintain accurate inventory records, track product levels, and reorder supplies as needed to ensure that our salon is well-stocked at all times.

                   

                  3. Product Knowledge:

                  Stay informed about the products and services we offer and be able to provide clients with information and recommendations on wig care, maintenance, and styling.

                   

                  4. Appointment Scheduling:

                  Manage appointment bookings and changes, and coordinate with stylists to ensure that appointments run smoothly.

                   

                  5. Studio Maintenance:

                  Ensure the salon studio is clean, organised, and presentable at all times. Assist with routine maintenance and liaise with external contractors when necessary.

                   

                  6. Administrative Support:

                  Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, client record management, and handling payments.

                   

                  7. Proactive Support for the CEO:

                  Anticipate the needs of the CEO, manage their calendar effectively and support in helping studio operations to run efficiently.

                   

                  Qualifications:

                  1. Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
                  2. Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
                  3. Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
                  4. Previous experience in a salon or beauty-related industry is a plus.
                  5. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
                  6. Highly organised with great attention to detail.
                  7. Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, appointment scheduling software).
                  8. Excellent communication skills.
                  9. A positive and friendly attitude.

                        • Create engaging content for various social media platforms, including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
                        • Monitor social media channels for trends, news, and feedback
                        • Respond to comments and messages from followers in a timely manner
                        • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm new ideas and initiatives
                        • Analyse social media data and generate reports on key metrics
                        • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media
                        • Create SEO-boosting blog posts
