Such a great experience, I have lupus in my scalp which caused a few patches I then made a decision with my specialist to shave my hair off get a wig for better protection.
My lovely Neice found Chrissy Bales for me.
When I arrived for my first consultation the lady at the reception greeted me with a warm smile while waiting for my consultation to start a form to fill a glass of water.
A beautiful lady then arrived straight away made me feel special this lady being Chrissy Bales, everything was perfect Chrissy tried on several wigs after a discussion on my lifestyle and needs. A lady that knows what I need I absolutely fell in love with the second one which made me feel so emotional 🥲 in a good way, but several more were tried and shown to me.
I went with the wig that I felt like me which was the second one, all measurements were done texture density etc.
My next consultation four weeks later for fitting and cutting which all done by Chrissy WOW what a guru I looked absolutely amazing and felt beautiful. Thank you so much to Chrissy and her team for making my process so beautiful. I have had the most fabulous compliments, very very highly recommend the BEST will be putting in another order 🩷

Consultation was amazing but the comb of the wig keeps digging into my head and the elastic band is already loose. Please could you help.

Thank you for your review of our wig consultation service. We’re sorry to hear you’re experiencing some discomfort with your unit.
Please let us know when you’re available next week to adjust the band and remove the comb. If you’re not in town, you can send your wig back to us via DHL at no cost —we’ll provide a return label. Our email is info@chrissybales.com
Regarding the combs and elastic bands:
- Combs are a personal preference, and we can adjust or remove them for your comfort.
- Your wig includes two elastic bands for security. The adjustable strap ensures a snug fit, and we offer free unlimited band changes as they naturally loosen over time.
As this is your first custom unit we designed it with a slightly looser band for initial comfort. We’ll happily make any adjustments to ensure it fits perfectly and meets your needs.

Chrissy and her team have such a warm and welcoming spirit when you visit her salon. I’m so glad she was patient with me (I was incredibly indecisive and a little stubborn on my choices) and as still a newbie to wigs, she kindly spent time going through all the hair options, styles and colours telling me her expert opinion on what she would suggest as we discussed the process as I got measured etc. all with a big smile on her face!
